[Organ & Choir Intro] "Tenebris venit... Sanguis regnat..." [Dark orchestral buildup] [Thunder in the distance] [Verse 1 ] [Spoken Word] [Low ominous voice] [Distant strings] A lone rider came through valley and hill, bearing the Sultan’s decree. A seal in his grasp, a sword by his side, a message of peace and reprieve. But where the road turned black with the night, he saw the dead by the hundreds. Impaled so high, a warning to those who dared to go forth. [Chant] [Opera Build-up] [Gothic choir] [Powerful orchestration] Vlad, Vlad, Vlad! The Impaler! [Timpani rolls] [Dramatic pause] [Heavy guitar] [Orchestra drop] [Verse 2] [Rising tension] Along the Danube, flames touched the sky, as villages fell to his oath. His people stood, though darkness loomed, death marching in steel and in smoke. [Chant] [Choir] [Orchestral Build-up] For Vlad swore his vow to strike down the men who threatened his land and crown. And every soldier who stepped through his gates met their fate upon timber and stone. [Opera Build-up] [Choir rising] [Strings intensifying] Vlad, Vlad, Vlad! The Impaler! [Instrumental Break] [eerie violin tremolos] [thunderous percussion] [Verse 3] [Crescendo} Through mountain passes, by thousands they came, an army beneath crescent light. But as they reached Târgoviște’s walls, silence was all that they heard. For at the gates, where banners once stood, a forest of corpses remained. [Chant] [Dramatic Choir] The Sultan’s warriors turned back in dread, for fear has no shield nor sword. [Opera Build-down] [Slow] [Haunting finale] Vlad, Vlad, Vlad! The Impaler! [Organ outro] [Fading chanting choir] "Mortis regnat... Drăculea..."
