Diamondback Broadcast - The Fireborn Genesis, pt IV
Dark cars cut through Manhattan static, Badge ghosts staged us in traffic panic, Flashbulbs cracked, every lens went frantic, Whole square prayed through the damage, tragic. Red lights washed every terrified face, News drones circled like vultures in place, Blackfall prints disappeared from trace, They nailed our names to a murder case... Black vans dipped through a blacked-out route, Badge lights blinked, then the facts blacked out, Hands went up as the cams came out, Whole life dragged when the truth drowns out. Sirens wrote our names in red, News tape wrapped around our heads. We asked for help, they watched instead, Grief looks guilty when it bleeds out red. Street glass cracked under bootstep pressure, Pulse kicked hard like a truth detector, Blackfall ghosts in the camera sector, Cut the tape, then fucked the record. Mother screamed, WHERE'S MY BABY GIRL! Father froze as the billboards swirled. Screens showed smoke under breaking lights, Then ash fell cold through the city night... Every billboard wore the same white light, Volcano smoke in the Manhattan night. Then the signal hissed through the nervous world, Like something buried had begun to curl... They called us killers in a bloody murder, Begged for truth, but no one heard us. Sold the sky like breaking weather, Turned our grief to guilt forever. Times Square screamed in a flash-lit world, Two hearts trapped as the headlines swirled. We weren’t the cause. We didn’t fucking lie! We were just framed and left to die... Crowds packed tight in neon weather, Eyes locked high while billboards lectured, “Mount St. Helens” in headlines tethered, Sky went gray as the city shivered. Some hands reached when mother fell, Some backed off when sirens yelled. Some kid filmed with his face gone pale, Street priest screamed, “THIS IS HELL!” Screens kept looping the mountain footage, Smoke clouds rolled through the broadcast image, Anchors smiled through a dead-eyed message, Static crawled through the signal wreckage. Father said, “This ain’t fucking right,” Ash fell soft through Manhattan light. Mountain’s burning miles from sight, But why’s the static calling us tonight? Every screen caught a serpent hiss, Emergency bands split under its kiss. Then the skyline blinked with forbidden truth, “Look dead center where Blackfall buried the proof..." "Diamondback live, cut the feed, I cracked the lock on the murder machine. Not a mountain, not debris, Ash has names you’ll never see." "They sold smoke from a borrowed crater, Dressed dead kids up as force of nature. Called ground zero, “A Fireborn Generator,” Then sold God’s wound through a news translator." "Watch when the footage plays, Small hand raised in the blast-lit haze. That’s not fallout in the firewave, That’s a child Blackfall chose to break." "I'm connected to long through the broadcast wire, Now black vans bloom by the church spire. If this cuts out, don’t believe the light! Shit... they fucking found me! My town dies tonight... Ash hit skin like loaded scripture, Bloodlines woke through broken pictures, Croatoan code in the blood grew sicker, Crowd turned plague in a Times Square flicker. One man burned, but his hands stayed clean, One girl screamed every screen to green. One cop prayed through a split machine, His radio laughed in a child’s dream. Subway grates coughed blue-black fire, Billboards bent, like electric wire, Every pulse climbed one notch higher, Whole damn square turned live-wire choir. Mother saw red through falling snow, Father cracked with a funeral glow. World wants fucking monsters? We'll let ’em know, Outbreak blooms where the ashes go... They called it ash, we called it murder, They called it news; we called it her. They sold the sky like holy weather, Every prayer came crawling back cursed. Times Square burned in a flash-lit world, Two hearts broke, then broke the world. That wasn’t fire in the sky, That was our missing little girl... Static died, but the city screamed, Ash fell thick like a nightmare breathed. Two souls snapped in the broadcast beam, Love turned rage from a murdered dream. Screens went dark, then red lights strobed, Hands held tight as the panic exploded. Diamondback hissed, “The truth is loaded," Then Manhattan broke, where our hearts corroded... THIS IS OUR HEARTBREAK!
