Verse 1 Sometimes I just sit and rewind it all, not to stay back there, just to recall how far I’ve come from where I was, and it don’t even feel like the same life. There were moments I didn’t think I’d break through, days I didn’t know what I’d even do, times I felt stuck with no clear view, like I was walkin’ without direction. I didn’t see the growth while I was in it, didn’t feel the change in the middle of livin’, but now I look back and it’s so different, I can’t ignore what You did. You didn’t just pull me out of a place, You changed how I think, how I move, how I face everything now with a different pace, and I know it wasn’t me. I used to react off what I felt, used to let my thoughts just run themselves, used to carry weight I couldn’t help, but now I don’t move like that. There’s a calm in me I didn’t have before, there’s a peace I couldn’t ignore, and it came from openin’ that door to You and lettin’ You lead. I don’t take that lightly, I don’t forget, every time I was low, every time I was stressed, every moment You stepped in and didn’t neglect what I was goin’ through. That’s why I reflect, not to go back, but to see the truth in where I’m at, and realize I’ve been carried past what I thought would hold me. Hook Look where You brought me, I can’t deny it, I’m not who I was, I don’t live inside it, every step I took, You were right beside it, look where You brought me—I’m alive in it. Through God the Father, I see the plan, through Jesus my Savior, I understand, through the Spirit that leads, I know who I am, look where You brought me—I stand. Verse 2 I remember nights I couldn’t get rest, thoughts runnin’ wild, feelin’ so pressed, tryin’ to make sense of all the stress, but nothin’ would settle my mind. I’d sit there wonderin’ if it would change, if I’d always feel stuck in the same place, if I’d ever break out of that space, or if that was just my life. But You didn’t leave me in that state, You didn’t let me sit there and fade, You walked me through it day by day, even when I couldn’t see it. And I didn’t always recognize it then, didn’t always notice where You stepped in, but now I see it clear as I look again— You were there the whole time. Through Jesus Christ, I found my way, not by effort, not by what I could say, but by truth that didn’t fade away, and it grounded me deeply. That’s when everything started to shift, not overnight, but piece by piece, You rebuilt what was weak in me, and made it stronger than before. Through the Spirit I was guided slow, not rushed, not forced, but helped to grow, He kept me steady when I felt low, and reminded me who I am. And God the Father, You saw it all, every time I felt like I might fall, You didn’t let me stay down at all— You lifted me again.
