[VERSE 1 — INSURRECTION] Neon colors blur to starlight As the city fades away, Every heartbeat lifts us higher Chasing dreams we couldn't name. Earth becomes a distant memory Falling somewhere far below, Breaking through the old horizons To a place we've never known. [PRE-CHORUS — BOTH] Past the city Past the old dreams Past the limits Into the unknown [CHORUS — BOTH] Higher and higher Closer to the light Breaking through the darkness We ascend tonight Leave the world behind Leave it all behind We ascend tonight (...we ascend tonight) [VERSE 2 — NOXEN] Midnight opens into colors Painting shadows into blue, Every star becomes a signal Calling us to something new. Silence sings between the planets As the unknown unfolds, Every limit turns to nothing When we chase what lies beyond. [PRE-CHORUS — BOTH] Past the city Past the old dreams Past the limits Into the unknown [CHORUS — BOTH] Higher and higher Closer to the light Breaking through the darkness We ascend tonight Leave the world behind Leave it all behind We ascend tonight (...we ascend tonight) [BRIDGE — SPOKEN] [Insurrection] Think the road ends out here? [Noxen] Space doesn’t end. [Insurrection] Exactly. Neither do we. [Noxen] So we keep dreaming. [FINAL CHORUS — BOTH] Higher and higher Closer to the light Breaking through the darkness We ascend tonight Leave the world behind Leave it all behind We ascend tonight [OUTRO BANTER — SPOKEN] [Insurrection] The dream still isn’t over. [Noxen] We never stop. [Insurrection] We ascend tonight
