[INTRO — DISTANT FOOTSTEPS] Step… Step… Step… [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICE] Did you hear that? [PAUSE] No… Don’t turn around. [DEEP MALE WHISPER] I’m coming… [SINISTER LAUGH] Heh… heh… hehehehe… [BEAT DROP] [VERSE 1 — FEMALE RAP] Midnight hits and the streetlights fade, Fog rolls in like a masquerade, Moon up high but the sky ain’t clear, Something in the darkness knows you’re here. Footsteps behind you— One, two, three, You pick up speed but you can’t break free, Look over your shoulder—nothing in sight, But that little voice says— [WHISPER] Run tonight… [PRE-CHORUS] You hear the floorboards creak, You hear the windows shake, You swear you saw a shadow Move behind the gate. Don’t close your eyes, Don’t turn off the light, ‘Cause something’s getting closer… [WHISPER] Closer… Closer… [CHORUS — BIG DROP] I’m coming for you! You better run, better hide, better move! Through the darkness, through the night, I’m right behind you— Out of sight! I’m coming for you! Hear that heartbeat going boom, boom, boom! Every corner, every room, You can run… [PAUSE] …but I’ll find you soon. [MALE LAUGH] HAHAHAHAHA! [VERSE 2 — FEMALE RAP] You lock the door but the handle turns, Lights start flickering, candle burns, Window’s closed but the curtain moves, Something in the hallway’s changing moods. You hear a knock— Three little taps, Then silence falls— No footsteps back. You check the mirror— Nobody there, Then a breath hits the back of your hair. [WHISPER] Boo. [PRE-CHORUS] You hear the floorboards creak, You hear the windows shake, You swear you saw a shadow Move behind the gate. Don’t close your eyes, Don’t turn off the light, ‘Cause something’s getting closer… [WHISPERED CHOIR] Closer… Closer… Closer… [CHORUS] I’m coming for you! You better run, better hide, better move! Through the darkness, through the night, I’m right behind you— Out of sight! I’m coming for you! Hear that heartbeat going boom, boom, boom! Every corner, every room, You can run… [MALE WHISPER] …but I’ll find you soon. [BREAKDOWN — MUSIC CUTS OUT] [HEARTBEAT] Boom… Boom… Boom… [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICE] Where are you? [FOOTSTEPS] Step… Step… Step… [MALE VOICE — VERY CLOSE] Found you. [SILENCE] [SINISTER LAUGH] HAHAHAHAHAHA! [MASSIVE 808 DROP] [RAP — FAST] Run down the hallway, don’t look back, Shadow on the wall and it’s on your track, Duck through the doorway, hide in the dark, But something out there already knows where you are. Under the bed? Nope. Behind the door? Nope. Closet locked? Still not safe anymore! Lights flash— Shadows dance— You thought you had another chance! [WHISPER] No you don’t. [FINAL CHORUS — HUGE] I’m coming for you! You better run, better hide, better move! Through the darkness, through the night, I’m right behind you— Out of sight! I’m coming for you! Hear that heartbeat going boom, boom, boom! Every corner, every room, You can run… You can hide… But I’ll find you soon! [OUTRO — MUSIC FADES] [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICE] It’s quiet now… [PAUSE] Too quiet. [FOOTSTEP] Step… [MALE WHISPER] I’m coming for you. [FINAL SINISTER LAUGH + GLITCH] Heh… heh… HAHAHAHAHA!
