Oh, I go wild when I’m at the zoo, The animals all ask, “Can we play with you?” “Of course I’ll play,” I say — I love fun! So I play all day with every one I jump rope with the kangaroos when we’re feeling jumpy I play tag with the tigers so we don’t feel grumpy With penguin, ostrich, emu I played duck duck goose I race the cheetah — but I somehow lose! Red light, green light’s silly to play with a sloth But at the zoo I’m wild like that because… At the zoo I go a little wild Every animal and I wear a giant smile. We laugh and play and do silly things, Like hoot, howl, stomp, spin, swim, and swing. Tug-of-war with elephants is harder than you think Don’t do a staring contest with a snake who never blinks Playing Truth or Dare with a Lion isn’t very wise Better to Go Fish with seals or play I Spy I throw well when I ring toss with the rhino Me and the hippo love playing Marco Polo In Simon Says with the parrot I often get out But with the monkeys we just laugh and shout At the zoo I go a little wild Every animal and I wear a giant smile. We laugh and play and do silly things, Like hoot, howl, stomp, spin, swim, and swing. Going wild at the zoo is a blast Fun times I wish could last Animals are the best of friends I wish playtime would never end Cuz… At the zoo I go a little wild Every animal and I wear a giant smile. We laugh and play and do silly things, Like hoot, howl, stomp, spin, swim, and swing. Yeah we hoot, howl, stomp, spin, swim, and swing. Oh we hoot, howl, stomp, spin, swim, and swing.
