III-XXX — THINK ABOUT IT [INTRO — SPAGHETTI WESTERN | 6/8 ~78 | TREMOLO GUITAR | RESONATOR 1–♭3–4–♭5–5–6 | LOW TOM | DISTANT TRUMPET] [MALE BARITONE — third-person narrator throughout] [VERSE 1 — THE MEETING] They met beneath a white noon sun Halfway between the lines. Crown Junction brought its deputation. Sarah brought only nine. Celeste Barrow rode before them, Black dress underneath her coat. She looked across at Jack and Sarah Like she'd come to count their votes. Jack stepped forward. “We didn't bring you here To talk about the Chair.” Celeste smiled. “Then you've already wasted Half my afternoon.” [TRUMPET — ♭5→5] [VERSE 2 — JACK'S WARNING] Jack laid out what waited north. The Watch. The snow. The walking dead. Men who took a bullet And kept coming anyway. Pale Riders leading columns south. A darkness gathering beyond the trees. Celeste listened without expression. Then laughed. “Commander Snow, Do you actually expect me to believe this?” Jack: “Yes.” “Corpses walking?” “Yes.” “Giant crows?” Silas: “Careful.” She turned. Silas stepped forward. “I wouldn't have risked my neck Finding Jamie If there were nothing to this.” Celeste looked at him. “You've risked your neck For considerably less.” Silas smiled thinly. “Fair.” [VERSE 3 — PROOF OF THE SKY] Celeste turned back to Jack. “There are no walking corpses. There are no giant crows.” Sarah raised two fingers. Nothing happened. Celeste smiled. Then— [LOW WINGBEATS] Someone looked up. [TRUMPET RISE] A black shape crossed the sun. Then another. Rook came down like falling night, Della balanced on his back. Dust exploded beneath his wings. Sparks circled once above them, Blue-white fire along her feathers. Della looked down at Celeste. “Hello.” [HARD STOP] Celeste said nothing. Jack: “That's the easy part.” [VERSE 4 — BRING THE BOX] [LONG-DARK RESONATOR — ♭2→1] Jack raised his hand. “Bring it.” Four cowboys led the sledge Into the open ground. Heavy chains. Holly-painted timber. Something struck the wall inside. Celeste heard it. Again. [THUD] Jack: “Knock the pins.” Iron rang against iron. One pin. Two. Three. The cowboys backed away. The side fell open. [COMPLETE STOP] A dead man staggered into daylight. Grey. Frozen. Empty-eyed. Then he saw Jack. And started walking. [VERSE 5 — THREE SHOTS] Jack raised the rifle. [SHOT] Center mass. The dead man rocked. Kept coming. [SHOT] Again. Still coming. [SHOT] Again. Still coming. Jack lowered the rifle. “Three shots from a fifty-one-ten. One should stop a buffalo.” The dead man shuffled closer. Jack reached for the shotgun. [RESONATOR ♭5→5] “Black glass.” [SHOTGUN BLAST] The dead man dropped. Didn't move. [LONG SILENCE] Jack looked toward Celeste. “That kills them.” [VERSE 6 — SPARKS] Della looked upward. “Sparks.” The Stormcrow folded her wings. Dropped. Blue-white fire raced from beak to tail. She swept across the fallen corpse— [CRACK] Flame rolled over it. Sparks climbed hard into the sky. The body burned. Nobody from Crown Junction spoke. Silas finally broke the silence. “Still nothing to this?” Celeste ignored him. [VERSE 7 — WHAT WE NEED] Jack stepped between both delegations. “This isn't Sarah's war. It isn't Della's. It isn't yours. It's everybody's.” [TELECASTER + RESONATOR INTERLOCK] “We need every gun In the Seven Counties. Every rider who can shoot. Powder. Led Food. Horses. Wagons. And we need the obsidian quarry At Crown Junction.” Celeste's eyes narrowed. “The quarry belongs to us.” Jack: “The dead don't care.” [PAUSE] Celeste looked at the burning corpse. At Sparks circling overhead. At Rook. At Della. At Sarah. At Silas. Finally back to Jack. “I'll think about it.” [HARD STOP] [VERSE 8 — DEPARTURE] She turned her horse. The Crown Junction riders followed. Nobody tried to stop them. Silas watched them disappear. Sarah: “Well?” Silas: “She believes us.” Jack: “She said she'd think about it.” Silas looked at the smoke Rising from the dead man. “I didn't say she'd help.” [OUTRO — TREMOLO GUITAR + DISTANT TRUMPET] Two black shadows crossed the ground. One corpse burned beneath the sun. And somewhere north, Beyond the mountains, More were walking. Thousands. Maybe millions. Jack watched Crown Junction ride away. “We don't need her to believe.” Sarah looked at him. “What do we need?” Jack: “The quarry.” [CUT] STYLE:
