Verse 1 More than forty years ago, a promise filled the sky, To every child around the world, we’d never pass them by. From village roads to city streets, we’ve answered every call, Together we’ve changed millions of lives, together we stand tall. Every mile reminds us why we never turn away, Hope is stronger when we serve, one child, one step each day. Chorus We keep our promise, we finish the race, With hearts united and amazing grace. One more mile, one more child, one more dream comes true, Until the world is polio-free, we’ll see this journey through. Side by side, hand in hand, together we will go, Crossing Rotary’s finish line—ending polio! Verse 2 The finish line is just ahead, we will not slow our pace, Because Rotarians never quit when hope is in the race. Every club, every gift, every life we touch today, Brings us one step closer to a brighter, healthier way. When that final ribbon falls, the whole world will see, A promise made, a promise kept—for every child to be free. Because Rotarians keep their promises… Together, we’ll finish the race.
