VERSE 1 I tried to count the ways You’ve held me Ran out of fingers, ran out of time Your grace is kinder than mere words can say So far beyond this simple rhyme. CHORUS Your love is far and wide Deeper than the oceans Higher than the sky Every breath I breathe Is Your gift of grace Bridging the great divide. VERSE 2 I see it written in salvation’s story You drew me with cords of love Your grace reached down to lift me up To Your throne room high above. BRIDGE I can’t imagine why You chose me From the wrath I so richly deserved Through the cross to bring me freedom For eternity my life to preserve. CHORUS Your love is far and wide Deeper than the oceans Higher than the sky Every breath I breathe Is Your gift of grace Bridging the great divide. OUTRO Throughout eternity my words will never fully tell Of my gratitude to the One that pulled me out of hell.
