[Verse 1] The cross declares, the debt is paid, The tomb is empty, the stone rolled away, Jesus is risen, forever alive, Our hope is certain, our King will arrive! [Pre-Chorus] Every tribe and tongue will sing, Glory to the risen King! From His throne He calls His own, Soon He’ll take us safely home! [Chorus] Sound the trumpet of His coming, lift your voice on high, Jesus died and rose to save us, now He reigns on high, One day soon the skies will open, He will call His bride, Trumpet of salvation, we’ll be at His side! [Verse 2] The feast is here, the shofars sound, The Bride awaits, the lost are found, The Gospel shines, the nations hear, The King is coming, the time is near! [Bridge] He has conquered, He has won, Risen Savior, Holy Son, Shout the message, loud and strong, He is coming—won’t be long! [Final Chorus] Sound the trumpet of His coming, let the nations sing, Jesus Christ, our risen Savior, everlasting King, Gathered in His glory, every tear wiped dry, Trumpet of salvation, lifted to the sky!
