[Verse 1] Sun's comin' up, I'm out the door, Chasin' that horizon like a hundred times before. Windows down, let the good times roll, Another mile closer to where I wanna go. [Chorus] Highway bound, don't slow me down, Every backroad leads to another town. Blue sky high, wheels on the line, This road keeps callin' and I'm feelin' fine. [Verse 2] Friendly waves at every stop, Small-town smiles never seem to stop. No lookin' back, just movin' on, Singin' with the sunrise till the day is gone. [Chorus] Highway bound, don't slow me down, Every backroad leads to another town. Blue sky high, wheels on the line, This road keeps callin' and I'm feelin' fine. [Bridge] Wherever this blacktop winds, That's exactly where I'll find Another story, another day, Another reason to stay this way. [Final Chorus] Highway bound, don't slow me down, Every backroad leads to another town. Blue sky high, wheels on the line, This road keeps callin' and I'm feelin' fine.
