Favela Kids #soundseasons #Sunovision2025
#soundseasons #Sunovision2025 ⚠️ Notice📢 This song reflects the harsh realities of growing up in underprivileged areas. The references to violence are not meant to glorify it, but to shed light on the struggles faced daily by millions of children worldwide. It's a call for awareness, empathy, and change. 💙Dear friends,💙 "Favela" is not limited to one geography. I created this song to highlight the challenges faced by countless children living under violence, poverty, and discrimination across the globe. While it holds personal meaning for me, I am too exhausted today to write a full article. Beloved Brazil, with its warm-hearted people, will always have a special place in my heart.🟢🟡🔵 Today, a heartfelt comment from a friend inspired me to submit this song for SunoVision. I deeply appreciate the efforts of the organizers, whose work brings more honor to our supportive Suno community. I have reviewed the rules and found no restrictions against submitting this piece under Brazil's flag🇧🇷 . I personally envision a borderless world — where walls between nations are lower, and freedom, welfare, safety, and healthcare are universal rights. With respect for the rules and the spirit of the competition, I submit this work. I love swimming against the current "Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains." — Jean-Jacques Rousseau According to UNICEF's 2023 report, approximately 336 million children worldwide are living under the threat of conflict, violence, or extreme poverty. May this song be a voice for them. Arash.Ash💙🕊️ ☮️🌈🌍 I was just a kid, runnin’ barefoot in the sun, Didn’t know the world had a price on my lungs. Mama said, "Be careful when you play outside," But the streets don’t ask if you’re ready to ride. Two roads, one dark, one bright, Both paved in sweat, both paved in fight. Chocolate dreams melt in heat and dust, When the wolves are hungry, who do you trust? O céu tem cores que ninguém pintou (The sky has colors no one ever painted) No bolso, só troco, mas meu sonho voou (Got no cash, but my dream still floats) Say a prayer, hope they miss my door, 'Cause the favela don’t play when the hunger roars. I saw Diego at the corner with a bloodstained shoe, Said, "This life’s a lottery, but the house still rules." Mama cried when she heard what the newsman said, But the city don’t pause for the kids left dead. Streetlights flicker like they laughin’ at fate, Candy melts fast when you live by the blade. The preacher says, "Change," but the rent’s past due, So you roll them dice, pray the reaper stay loose. Mãe na janela, vela na mão, Rezando pra noite não ser em vão. Pelas ruas, ecoam passos, Histórias de sonhos despedaçados. O céu tem cores que ninguém pintou (The sky has colors no one ever painted) No bolso, só troco, mas meu sonho voou (Got no cash, but my dream still floats) Say a prayer, hope they miss my door, 'Cause the favela don’t play when the hunger roars. "A vida é um jogo sem manual... Alguns perdem, outros acham um jeito de voar."
