[Jesus Saved Me] [Verse 1] I was walking through the darkness, Trying to find my way, Carrying all my burdens, With every step I took each day. I searched for something greater, But nothing filled the space, Until I heard Your calling, And I found Your saving grace. [Pre-Chorus] You reached down when I was lost, You paid my debt upon the cross. [Chorus] Jesus saved me, Jesus changed me, He took my broken heart and made me new. He lifted my burdens, And carried me through. Now I’m standing in Your freedom, Living in Your amazing grace. Every day I’m reminded, Jesus saved me. [Verse 2] The chains that held me captive, Are finally gone away. Your love became my shelter, Your light became my way. No matter where I wander, Your mercy calls me home. I know I’m never alone now, Because I belong to You alone. [Pre-Chorus] You gave me hope when hope was gone, You filled my heart with a brand-new song. [Chorus] Jesus saved me, Jesus changed me, He took my broken heart and made me new. He lifted my burdens, And carried me through. Now I’m standing in Your freedom, Living in Your amazing grace. Every day I’m reminded, Jesus saved me. [Bridge] Amazing love that never fails, A grace that reaches through the veil. The cross has spoken, the victory won, Forever I will praise the Son. [Final Chorus] Jesus saved me, Jesus healed me, He brought me from the darkness into light. His love surrounds me, And holds me through the night. I will tell the world His story, Of the mercy I have found. Forever I will worship, The Savior who turned me around. [Outro] Jesus saved me… And I’ll never be the same.
