灯りを持って

移ろう空を見上げながら Looking up at the ever-changing sky 今日も答えは形を変える Today, the answers change their shapes again 人の言葉も　心の波も People's words and the waves of the heart 揺れの中で立つ術を知りたい I want to know how to stand within the sway 失わぬために抱きしめすぎて Holding on too tight to not lose it 壊してしまうことがあるなら If that means breaking it in the end せめてこの胸に残したいのは What I want to leave in my heart at least 執着ではなく　小さな灯り Is not attachment, but a small light どうか忘れないでいてほしい Please, I hope you never forget すべては変わる　それでもなお Everything changes, but even so 何を守って　何を手放すか What to protect and what to let go 選ぶ心は育ててゆける We can nurture the heart that chooses 強くありたいわけではなくて It's not that I want to be strong ただ　ごまかさずにいたいだけ I just don't want to deceive myself 変わる世界に背を向けないで Not turning my back on a changing world 変わる私も引き受けながら While accepting the me who changes too どうか見失わないでいてほしい Please, I hope you never lose sight 答えはいつも一つじゃない There is never just one answer けれど誠実に確かめながら But while checking with sincerity 進む足取りは嘘をつかない The steps I take forward will not lie 永遠じゃないこの命だから Because this life is not eternal 今ここにだけ宿る真実がある There is a truth that dwells only here and now 風に揺れても折れないものを What sways in the wind but doesn't break 固さではなく　しなやかさと呼ぼう Let's call it flexibility, not rigidity どうか忘れないでいてほしい Please, I hope you never forget 私は答えを守るのじゃない I am not protecting the answer 変わる世界に向き合うための To face this changing world 静かな姿勢を守りたいだけ I just want to protect this quiet stance 苦しみの中　迷いの中で In the midst of suffering, in the midst of doubt それでも灯りを手放さない Still, I will not let go of this light 朝が来るたび　新しくなれ Become new every time morning comes 昨日の私に縛られず Unbound by the me of yesterday 今日の私は　今日の声で The me of today, with the voice of today 私に誓う I swear to myself 灯りを持って生きてゆく I will live holding a light
