[Verse 1] There’s a watcher on your mantle A sneaky little spy He’s got a twinkle in his eye Don’t ask me why With a notebook in his hand and a mission so grand He’s jotting down your moves for the man with the plan You better think twice before you pout or you cry That elf on the shelf sees it all Oh my oh my He’s a silent little shadow with a grin so wide Reporting back to Santa on his reindeer ride [Bridge] Oh Tiptoe Tiptoe He’s watching you tonight Oh Ho ho ho He’s got you in his sight [Chorus] Elf on the shelf He’s making a list Checking it twice No move will be missed Better be good Better not lie Or Santa won’t stop by Oh Santa won’t stop by [Verse 2] He’s got a watch for an eye And a smirk so sly Hiding in the tree or on the curtain tie He’s the eyes in the dark The grin in the light The keeper of your Christmas So you’d better act right No hiding in the shadows No tricks No disguise The elf sees it all From the lows to the highs A tattletale on duty A scout on the scene For the jolly man in red with his sleigh so keen. [Bridge] Oh Tiptoe Tiptoe He’s watching you tonight Oh Ho ho ho He’s got you in his sight [Chorus] Elf on the shelf He’s making a list Checking it twice No move will be missed Better be good Better not lie Or Santa won’t stop by Oh Santa won’t stop by
