The Isaiah Scroll

Ballad starting with piano accompaniment and clear male lead vocalist and adding more instruments as the song continues, a second male vocalist sings harmony, catchy melody, easy to sing and memorize, singer close to mic, middle-eastern, reread is pronounced REE REED, 53 is pronounced FIFTY THREE, vocalist changes volume in verses mentioning Jesus or Christ

Something interesting happened around 1948
when the Isaiah Scroll was found.
In the Qumran Caves by Israel’s Dead Sea,
Isaiah’s words came up from the ground.

Why Isaiah’s so special is the question that’s posed,
why was it allowed to survive?
We’ll find that the reasons are over-the-top,
which makes this book come alive.

The Isaiah Scroll, which scholars have studied,
can now be held in our hands.
This shows that in its 24-foot length,
God’s original Word still stands.

When we take a look at this marvelous book,
we find it has no mistake.
We can see for ourselves that God’s Word proves true
and not one word of it’s fake.

Written 700 years before Jesus Christ —
Isaiah made future predictions.
By checking its prophecy, history, and science,
you’ll find there are no contradictions.

Isaiah, so oft quoted, points clearly to Christ;
it explains how heaven’s attained.
Satan’s sin is described and also his end
and we’re warned from sin to refrain.

Isaiah is the only complete scroll found,
in the last over 75 years.
It talks of the past, up into eternity,
and points out the end’s drawing near.

It reveals our LORD with sixty names
showing Christ won’t lie, deceive, or change.
It tells of King Cyrus and Alexander the Great,
something only our LORD could arrange.

The prophecy given on Christ’s two Comings—
so many are in Isaiah’s book.
If past prophecies came true, the future’s will too,
shouldn’t this cause us to look?

Chapter 53 details what ’d take place at the cross,
how Christ would look, feel, and be treated.
We’re told that He’d give His life up to save us—
and the exact words Christ repeated.

The Tribulation and Kingdom that Isaiah described
may be way beyond our conception.
But shouldn’t we stop and consider its words
and heed warnings of coming deception.

Isaiah’s so loaded with hope for the Jews,
who God said He’d never abandon.
This plan is recorded in so many verses,
and we know that God’s words aren’t random.

Isaiah covers doctrine, answers questions, and more,
it clearly gives us God’s truth
Condensed in this book there is so much to study
and then passed on to our youth.

God’s plan of salvation and promise of heaven,
in Isaiah are so plainly given.
God also wants us to revisit this book,
so back to Him we would be driven.

Isaiah should stir us to reread God’s Word,
it’ll provide us with true motivation.
We surely see why Isaiah was chosen,
it was meant for our End Times preparation.
