The Weed Man Got Arrested and My Stash Is Dry

[Verse] I was sittin' on my porch just watchin' the sky Got a hunger in my soul and I don’t know why Then the phone rang loud and the news hit my ear The weed man’s in cuffs and my stash disappeared [Chorus] Oh the weed man got arrested and my stash is dry I’m sittin' here sober just wonderin' why My mind’s a desert and my throat’s a sigh The weed man got arrested and my stash is dry [Verse 2] The cops rolled up like a thief in the night Took my green salvation Now nothin' feels right My lighter’s all lonely My papers just stare It’s a smoky tragedy hangin' in the air [Chorus] Oh the weed man got arrested and my stash is dry I’m sittin' here sober just wonderin' why My blues are groovin' But my brain won’t fly The weed man got arrested and my stash is dry [Bridge] I called up my buddy Said “man do you know?” He said “I’m dry too Bro The whole town’s low” Even my grandma said she’s feelin' the pain She’s bakin’ brownies But they’re just plain [Chorus] Oh the weed man got arrested and my stash is dry I’m sittin' here sober just wonderin' why No spark No fire No hazy high The weed man got arrested and my stash is dry
