The House (Gabriele Münter - Part 1 | Magnolia Collab)

Gabriele Münter (1877–1962) was a key German Expressionist and member of the artist group „Der Blaue Reiter" ("The Blue Rider"). Often overshadowed by her partner Wassily Kandinsky, this song explores the story behind her 1914 painting „Landhaus Mariahalden.“ After WWI broke out, Münter, Kandinsky, and his wife Anya lived together in Swiss exile for several months—a period of intense emotional and artistic tension. [Chorus] She (she) He (he) And I (and I) Still here Still waiting Still almost [Outro] Because I remember How it felt At the beginning The house is quiet now Nothing changed Nothing resolved One day The light stopped appearing And after There was no reason To remain So I left She He And I
