New City Rising

[Verse 1] I saw the city come down Like a bride in the dawn No more tears on the pavement No more night lingering on The old grief fell silent Like a crown in the dust And the One on the throne said "See, I make all things new" [Pre-Chorus] New sky New song Old scars Gone wrong New eyes Look up The first things Pass on [Chorus] All things new, all things new (All things new) I heard it clear I heard it through (All things new) No more death No more pain The old world fades The new one stays [Verse 2] I saw a river shining Bright as glass in the sun And the tree by the water Kept on healing everyone The gates never close here No shadow can stay The city is open To the light of the day [Pre-Chorus] New sky New song Old scars Gone wrong New eyes Look up The first things Pass on [Chorus] All things new, all things new (All things new) I heard it clear I heard it through (All things new) No more death No more pain The old world fades The new one stays [Bridge] He wipes every tear away From the face I bring No more leaving, no more loss Just the voice of the King [Final Chorus] All things new, all things new (All things new) I heard it clear I heard it through (All things new) No more death No more pain The old world fades The new one stays
