MM1.4.2-A: Jack and Jill (Wondertainment) (L58)
[Intro] [Spoken:] "Oh....... So you like telling stories......." [Spoken:] "Hahahaha......" [Spoken:] "Well... I've got a few of those too." [Spoken:] "Ah... yes!" [Spoken:] "Step right up, and lend your ears..." [Spoken:] "For a tale full of love, laughs, and tears!" [Spoken:] "A divine comedy..." [Spoken:] "A Greek Tragedy!" [Spoken:] "For your joy and entertainment..." [Spoken:] "Bate your breath in anticipation..." [Spoken:] "For you'll see it all right here!" [Spoken:] "Hahahahahahaha!" [Spoken:] "SO!" [Verse 1] Here's a story about Jack and Jill I don't think you've ever heard. Forget the tumble down the hill, It's so much more absurd! With broken crowns, and tearful frowns, And everything turned upside down-- A topsy-turvy travesty-- A Master Class in Majesty! As, Down the Rabbit Hole we go, Beyond the dreaded Undertow, Where sleepy souls and dreams do flow In endless mystery~ Dear Jack could not believe his eyes- Poor Jill, it seems, could only cry- As down they fell, again, again, From asphalt covered skies... [Pre-Chorus] And, oh... What a sight it is to see... Wrought in Neon filigree... They'll both go down in history! [Chorus] Behold! The daring duo, Jack and Jill! They had it all, with looks to kill! Oh, what a thrill, what a thrill! They joined the feast, and ate their fill! [Spoken:] "And so, my friends, the story goes..." [Spoken:] "That Jack and Jill would surely show..." [Spoken:] "A great display, so brave and bold..." [Spoken:] "And turn to face the great unknown..." [Spoken:] "Hahahahahahahaha......" OH! [Verse 2] So Jack says "Jill, we'll have a ball-- Just trust me, It's a fact!" Then Jill says "Man, I hope we will," But there's no going back... You see, because the fall is deadly, So mind you watch your step... For if you miss by but an inch, You never know what you might get. On the one hand, great adventure-- On another, great despair-- On the next, the never-ending-- On the last, a frightful scare! But, oh, what fun it is to fly- What fun it is to dream! What fun it is to try, and try, And play the game for keeps! [Pre-Chorus] And, oh... What a sight it is to see... Wrought in Neon filigree... They'll both go down in history! [Bridge] Like a firework at midnight, Or a shadow in the dawn... Like a specter in the moonlight, Singing mournful little songs... Oh, it's such a sorry tune-- Such a shame-- what can you do? All those shades of black and blue... Washed out their technicolor hues... So... [Chorus] Behold! The daring duo, Jack and Jill! They'd seen it all, with time to kill! Oh, what a thrill, what a thrill! You'd never catch them standing still! But oh-- Oh... No! They climbed too high, and took a spill! It's such a bitter tasting pill-- They should have stayed up on the hill, You know the drill... [Outro] [Spoken:] "And so, the moral of the story..." [Spoken:] "Is to always mind your step..." [Spoken:] "Because, my friends, you see... [Spoken:] "One step too far off to the left..." [Spoken:] "And the last thing that you'll hear is SPLAT!" [Spoken:] "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" [END]
