[Intro] I walked through hell. Didn’t stop. Didn’t pray for the door to open. I kicked it down. [Verse 1] I walked through the fire with the flames at my feet, Demons on my shoulders, devil talking through the heat. Every step I took, something tried to make me kneel, But I kept putting one foot down, just to prove that I was real. I saw the devil in the distance, I saw heaven in the sky, Had the weight of both upon me, Still I never fucking died. Every demon that approached me, I walked straight through the fear. Every voice that said, “You’re finished,” Got quieter every year. I wasn’t waiting for salvation. I wasn’t waiting for a sign. I was fighting through the darkness With nothing but my mind. Maybe faith was in the walking. Maybe faith was in the fight. Maybe God gave me the darkness Just to teach me how to find the light. [Verse 2] I walked through every nightmare, Every curse and every doubt. Devils tried to pull me under, But I fucking pulled me out. I didn’t need a sword of angels, Didn’t need a hand from above. I had nothing but my heartbeat And a reason not to give up. Even God’s grace couldn’t carry me Across every fucking mile. Sometimes grace was just the strength To keep walking for a while. I prayed, then kept on moving. I believed, then kept on fighting. Didn’t know if heaven heard me, But I kept my fucking stride. So I stopped asking who would save me. Stopped waiting for the call. ’Cause every time I hit the bottom, I was the one who climbed the wall. [Verse 3] Now the devil doesn’t scare me. I’ve already seen his face. I’ve walked through hell so many times That hell became a place. I’ve fought demons in the darkness. I’ve fought shadows in my head. I’ve watched everything I feared Stand above me like the dead. And I kept walking through them. Never gave them what they wanted. Every monster lost its power Every time that I confronted it. Maybe God was right beside me. Maybe grace was in my blood. Maybe every step I took alone Was still carried by His love. But I finally understood it When there wasn’t anyone else: Sometimes you pray for your salvation, Then you fucking save yourself. I became my own saviour. Not because I wasn’t afraid. But because I kept on walking Every time I should’ve stayed. So bring the devil. Bring the demons. Bring the darkness if it came. I’ve already walked through hell And came out carrying my name. I don’t need to be immortal. I don’t need to be divine. I just need to keep on walking When the darkness tells me, “Die.” I walked through hell. I walked through fear. I walked through every demon That was waiting for me there. And when I finally reached the other side, There was nobody else. Just me. My own saviour.
