You say you formed me You say you knew me You say still you know me And you have great plans for me You gave faith to Moses Who parted the sea Such strong faith he had Compared to someone like me I know I am broken So can I still be used For a wonderful purpose That brings glory to you? You say "Come just as you are" But in my heart I feel As if I may be lost And I have strayed too far You say "Anything is possible" With you by my side By the love you have shown me Through out my life Shows me how patient you are So Merciful and Kind Yet, I struggle with fear It can be so hard to see That someone as great as you Can have a purpose for me Even if I do not understand I pray and I trust that you have a plan So I will allow you to lead me Hold me in your hands So light my way, Lord Open my ears to listen Open my heart to obey Open my eyes to see you And guide me each day
