[Verse 1] I bit into noon At the corner stand Guava stained my thumb Sticky on my hand Paper cup sweating Pink on my shoes One small bite of gold And I forgot the news [Pre-Chorus] Oh, it hit me slow Then it hit me fast Sweet little spell Made the whole day last [Chorus] Guava on ice Guava on ice One taste and I’m gone Guava on ice Guava on ice Guava on ice Warm world, cold cup Guava on ice [Verse 2] You laughed at the seeds Spit them in the rain Said every good thing Leaves a tiny stain We leaned by the truck Under plastic shade Sun on your sleeve Like a bright parade [Pre-Chorus] Oh, it hit me slow Then it hit me fast Sweet little spell Made the whole day last [Chorus] Guava on ice Guava on ice One taste and I’m gone Guava on ice Guava on ice Guava on ice Warm world, cold cup Guava on ice [Bridge] I keep that flavor In the back of my mind Little pink miracle Hard to leave behind [Final Chorus] Guava on ice Guava on ice One taste and I’m gone Guava on ice Guava on ice Guava on ice Warm world, cold cup Guava on ice (Guava on ice)
