[Verse 1] When your hands are tired I will take the weight If your road is heavy I won’t hesitate If your knees are shaking I will walk beside We can make it lighter Together side by side [Pre-Chorus] Teach me how to give With an open heart Show me how to lift When the days fall apart [Chorus] Carry the load with me Carry the load with me Smile and let it show Let the love of God flow Carry the load with me Carry the load with me Shine through what we do Make us good and true [Verse 2] When my brother’s weary I will bend and stay When my sister’s crying I will clear the way Not with empty words But with steady hands Love is in the little Things we choose to do and stand [Pre-Chorus] Teach me how to give With an open heart Show me how to lift When the days fall apart [Chorus] Carry the load with me Carry the load with me Smile and let it show Let the love of God flow Carry the load with me Carry the load with me Shine through what we do Make us good and true [Bridge] Let mercy be our language Let kindness be our song When one falls under burden Let the many make it strong And when the world is watching May they see a holy grace Not just words we’re speaking But love alive in every face [Final Chorus] Carry the load with me Carry the load with me Smile and let it show Let the love of God flow Carry the load with me Carry the load with me Shine through what we do Make us good and true Carry the load with me Carry the load with me (shine through us) Make us good and true
