Phoenix 2 Rising

[Verse] From the rubble of the fall We learned to walk and then to crawl Took the hits but now we stand tall We're breaking through the iron wall [Verse 2] In the shadows where hope was scarce We found the strength The will to dare Dusting off the weight we bear Now we breathe the open air [Chorus] Out of the ashes we will rise Through the storm and into skies Fire burns but we survive Lighting up with our own lives [Verse 3] Whispers turned to mighty roars We rewrite the forgotten scores Kicking down the battered doors The phoenix lifts The spirit soars [Bridge] Every tear and every scar Led us back to who we are When the path seemed way too far Here we dance beneath the stars [Chorus] Out of the ashes we will rise Through the storm and into skies Fire burns but we survive Lighting up with our own lives
