Abraham And Sarah

Modern worship, acoustic +piano build, emotional, male or female vocal, 72-78 BPM

Though he couldn't see the end
Still he chose to trust again

Trusting in the promises
Even when we cannot see
God is always faithful
Through our doubt and uncertainty
When we try to walk alone
We only lose our way
But hope is found in trusting
Every word God says

Through his son came Isaac born
Then through Jacob, Israel formed
God was faithful, promise true
Just like He said He would do
But Sarah had a moment's fear
Doubt began to whisper near
"Take control," she said one day
And Ishmael came another way

But God's plan was still the same
Faithful through the doubt and pain

Then God asked Abraham one day
"Take your son and walk My way"
Up the mountain, heart in pain
Still he trusted through the strain
When he showed his willing heart
God stepped in before the start
Isaac spared, a ram instead
Faith fulfilled just as God said

There were times he chose his way
Times he wandered, times he strayed
But through it all he still believed
God would give what He decreed
Now we’re nearing Holy Week
Palm branches and voices speak
Promise made now coming true
Salvation coming just for you

How well have we trusted Him
When the road ahead looks dim
Have we tried to go alone
Tried to make the path our own

Trusting in the promises
Even when we cannot see
God is always faithful
Through our doubt and uncertainty
When I pray and seek His face
He leads me by His grace
God is always faithful
Even when I'm not the same

God is always faithful
He is faithful through it all
Let us follow Abraham
Trust the One who calls
Trust the promises of God
Trust the promises of God
He is faithful
He is faithful
