--- Was using up some credits towards the end of my monthly time and decided to take one of the concept songs and turn it into a full song. So, did a cover of a short song that I liked, reworked the lyrics to add some verses and rephrase some items, and then let Suno cook with it. With the cover, and the same musical prompt being used, it pretty much kept the entire vibe, just turned it into a full song rather than the partial I had before. I like this technique for developing songs. Makes me feel a bit more like I'm shaping the music rather than just letting everything happen on its own. The results feel a bit more "connected" to me, which makes my overall enjoyment of the song a bit more too :-) Anyway, the song is about being in a loving supportive relationship and because of that love and support you're able to take some extra risks as together you have a form of "Disaster Insurance" that is beautiful. Really liked how it came out. ~David --- [Musical Introduction] [Music Build Up] [Verse] Ain't it like you to fall right on your face While you're makin' a joke about bad luck? And ain't it like me to help you up And to laugh until the moment I run out of breath? Ain't it like us to be like this? Life has taught us both to hold it lightly Life has taught us both to hold it lightly [Pre-Chorus] So go ahead Go ahead Baby Go ahead Go ahead Baby Go ahead Go ahead Baby Take those risks [Chorus] We have beautiful disaster insurance If I ever lose you I know You'll still love me from beyond So Don't worry about anything No Don't worry about anything We have beautiful disaster insurance If you ever lose me You know I'll still love you from beyond So Don't worry about anything No Don't worry about anything [Verse 2] Isn't it fun to be a mess? The universe knows we're quite a sight to see As long as we have each other I think we'll be fine We'll miss the train and lose the map Turn the wrong way with a smile anyway If the whole world comes unwound We'll just call it another story to tell [Bridge] When the stars forget their places When tomorrow changes names When the seasons leave without us Nothing really fades Love was never made for keeping Only giving, over time If forever has a heartbeat I'm already holding mine [Interlude] [Music Solo] [Chorus] We have beautiful disaster insurance If I ever lose you I know You'll still love me from beyond So Don't worry about anything No Don't worry about anything We have beautiful disaster insurance If you ever lose me You know I'll still love you from beyond So Don't worry about anything No Don't worry about anything [Verse 3] Maybe someday years from now We'll wear our wrinkles like old victory scars We'll still dance in empty kitchens Like nobody's watching us And if one of us gets there first Leave the porch light glowing in the dark I'll know exactly where to find you Right where laughter leaves its spark [Final Chorus] We have beautiful disaster insurance If this whole world breaks down I know Love will carry us beyond So Don't be afraid of anything No Don't be afraid of anything We have beautiful disaster insurance Nothing lasts forever But love Was never bound by time at all So Don't be afraid of anything No Don't be afraid of anything [Outro] Go ahead Go ahead Baby Take those risks We'll lose our way We'll find our way Maybe both the same day We have beautiful disaster insurance So don't worry... No, don't worry... Love remembers Love remembers Love remembers us [Musical Ending]
