★ By The Puzzle *

[Intro] [Verse 1] As we sit by the puzzle, I say to my love, “There is one piece here missing. And how do I know?” And she smiles to me, saying, “No way you will say.” And I say to her, “Darling, the show cannot stay.” [Verse 2] She is thinking about it. “You took it,” she says. “No way,” I say, “I’ll tell you of minds and of ways.” She is curious, which I can tell by her smile. “You are holding it,” she says, quite proud, in a while. [Chorus] “Why on earth, you, my reason for living, should I?” I ask. And she says, “If so, this puzzle won’t die.” “Maybe I died,” I say, “It has shape of a heart.” “That,” she says, “I know perfectly well. It’s my art.” [Instrumental] [Verse 3] I admit to myself I am getting confused. Though, I say, “You have taken it for to be used.” “Quite correct,” she says, giggling, “and do you know why?” [Instrumental line] [Verse 4] As the man I am, I ask her bluntly, “How come?” She looks down, she looks up, she looks silly, to some. And she says, “I can find it, you know, just for fun.” “That would be,” I say, “one thing found under the sun.” [Bridge] And I say, “When you find it, please give it to me. I will hold it, again, since I love it, you see.” She sighs. Then, as she rises, she picks up a piece with the shape of a heart which she places, with fierce. [Outro] I say, "Love …" [Instrumental]
