[Intro] [Lute only] With lute in hand, I sing this tale, Of Xander, Tortle bold and brave, [Verse 1] In Baldur's Gate, our journey led, and guess what? a shoemaker's we've met, He spoke of shoes that took to flight, They soared above, out of sight. Xander grinned, his eyes alight, "I'll catch those shoes, with all my might," But first, we fought with Jackal’s pack, Then back to shoes, on our track. [Chorus] Oh Xander... you monk so brave, Oh-oh-yeah-oh-yeah you run with nothing to spare [Verse 2] Upon the stairs, he took his stance, With monkish grace, began his dance, He raced so fast, the wind did cheer, His shell, a blur, no trace of fear. The sound went boom, but The shoes did dodge, But Xander reached, his bones dislodged?, He grabbed them tight, but lost his grip, And with a thud, began his slip. [Chorus] Oh Xander... you monk so brave, Oh-oh-yeah-oh-yeah you run with nothing to spare [Bridge] He crashed into the wall with might, But still he held those shoes so tight, The shoemaker cheered, the crowd did roar, For Xander's feat, a tale of lore. [Outro] So here’s to Xander, Tortle brave, Who risked it all, the shoes to save, A monk of speed, and wit so keen, Who chased a dream, quite unforeseen. [end song] [silence]
