[INTRO — WIND + DISTANT CAT MEOW] Meooow… [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICE] Two eyes in the darkness… Watching… Waiting… [CAT HISS] [DEEP MALE WHISPER] They’re everywhere… [SINISTER LAUGH] HAHAHAHA! [BEAT DROP] [VERSE 1 — FEMALE RAP] Moonlight shining on the rooftop tiles, Little black shadow with a wicked smile, Tail held high as it walks through the street, Silent little paws with a sinister beat. One on the fence, two by the door, Three in the alley and maybe there’s more, Green eyes glowing when the streetlights fade, Something about that cat makes you afraid. [WHISPER] Meow… [PRE-CHORUS] Cross the road? Maybe don’t. Turn around? Maybe won’t. They just stare without a sound, Then disappear when you turn around. [CHORUS — BIG DROP] Black cats! Black cats! Dancing underneath the moon! Black cats! Black cats! Halloween is coming soon! Glowing eyes in the midnight black, You see one forward—then three in back! Whiskers twitch and the shadows move, Black cats got that Halloween groove! [MALE LAUGH] HAHAHAHAHA! [VERSE 2 — FEMALE RAP] Witch on the corner got one on her broom, Another little cat just jumped in the room, Sitting on the windowsill like royalty, Looking at the whole world like, “Bow to me.” One knocked over the candle— Crash! Another stole the treat— Dash! One jumped straight onto the DJ booth, Now the whole Halloween party’s loose! [PRE-CHORUS] They creep… They crawl… They climb that wall, Then suddenly— [CAT HISS] They’re gone. [CHORUS] Black cats! Black cats! Dancing underneath the moon! Black cats! Black cats! Halloween is coming soon! Glowing eyes in the midnight black, You see one forward—then three in back! Whiskers twitch and the shadows move, Black cats got that Halloween groove! [BREAKDOWN — MUSIC CUTS] [SOFT PURRING] [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICE] Shhh… Don’t scare them. [PAUSE] They’re watching you. [CAT MEOW] [DEEP MALE VOICE] Look behind you. [PAUSE] [SINISTER LAUGH] Heh… heh… HAHAHAHAHA! [MASSIVE 808 DROP] [RAP — FAST] Black fur shining underneath the stars, Jumping on fences, climbing up cars, Racing through the graveyard, chasing the moon, Every little paw got a different tune. Left, right— Gone from sight! Eyes glow bright In the dead of night! Witch says, “Come here,” Cat says, “Nah,” Then it disappears with a— [GLITCH] MEOW! [BRIDGE — HAUNTED MELODY] Under the moon, They rule the night, Silent shadows, Eyes so bright… [WHISPERED CHOIR] Black cats… Black cats… Black cats… [FINAL CHORUS — HUGE] Black cats! Black cats!
