[verse] From Tethyr's shadowed wood, black Glauvenath held sway, On Wealdath's paths, where whispers stood of caravans astray. A dozen guards, a meager fight, for her dark, cunning hand, She deemed the weak her rightful bite, across the blighted land. [verse] A missing train, a gruesome find, where acid etched the ground, One shaken soul, left far behind, the dragon's wrath had crowned. Then from the gloom, a sudden dread, the black beast took the air, Her venomous stream, a witness dead, consumed beyond compare. [verse] But we stood firm, as venom fell, the Bringer's arrows bright, A searing grace, a holy strike, against draconic night. Black Thorns arose, with spirits' call, and blades of spirit's ire, The dragon shrieked, began to flee, her situation dire. [breakdown] [verse] With Bringer's hand, I soared on high, where shadows couldn't keep, His holy bolts against the sky, drove Glauvenath down steep. She dove to woods, a final plea, where Shadow Knight had sit, A swift dark end, beneath the tree, where Glauvenath's throat was slit. [verse] No more her raids, her cruel deceit, her reign of terror done, Another dead coward at our feet, beneath the setting sun. The beast lies still, her darkness past, her wicked story told, And now the dragon's hoard awaits: lets get our silver and gold!
