My Son, learn that life is a test Measure each deed as your best Treasure each moment as you play Cherish each blessing in your day My Son, learn that life has it's don't's Hold not a grudge for those who don't Speak your peace, but never be cruel And always uphold the golden rule. My Son, learn what life truly means Be a friend to those less seen Stand among the flowers few Who live this life like it were new My Son, walk with the Lord every day Ask of Him what your heart might say Teach others to follow as you will do To carry His cross among angels too!
