[Verse 1] I saw the map in the dust Milk and honey, but the fence was high Ten men shook, and the camp went cold But Caleb stood with a fire in his eye He said, "We can take it" Not by size, but by the One who sent us They saw walls, I saw promise They saw graves, I saw witnesses Footsteps syncopated Across fear like a cracked drum skin Every giant got a name Every name had to bow when faith walked in [Pre-Chorus] Who said the land was empty? Who said the hill was dead? The bread was in the valley The crown was over our head [Chorus] Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer Faith goes first Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer Blessing breaks the curse (giant slayer) Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer We do not turn Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer The promise burns [Verse 2] Then a shepherd with a sling No crown, just stones in his hand No armor fit his shoulders Still he ran at the roaring man Goliath laughed from the shadow Big voice, big teeth, big pride David answered with a covenant "Not by me, but by God on my side" One stone, one breath One line, then the giant split The whole field heard that fall Like heaven put weight on it [Pre-Chorus] Who said the giant was final? Who said the odds were king? The name above the thunder Made a small boy sing [Chorus] Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer Faith goes first Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer Blessing breaks the curse (giant slayer) Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer We do not turn Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer The promise burns [Bridge] If the walls are tall Then Your word is taller If the threat is loud Then Your voice is sharper Caleb climbed David ran I bring my fear You place the plan [Break] (giant slayer) (giant slayer) Oh, let it fall Oh, let it fall [Final Chorus] Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer Faith goes first Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer Blessing breaks the curse (giant slayer) Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer We do not turn Giant Slayer, Giant Slayer The promise burns
