Right Here With You

Verse 1 I don’t need a crowd, I don’t need a stage, I don’t need a moment where I’m feelin’ praised, I just need this space where my heart can stay in Your presence, God, at the end of the day. There were times I was searchin’ for somethin’ loud, tryin’ to feel You in places that drew a crowd, but I found You closer when I just sat down and let everything fade when I turned it all off. Now it’s quiet in here, but I feel You strong, not a distant idea, but where I belong, not a voice from afar, but right where I’m drawn, like You never once left, like You were here all along. And I’m not tryna rush, I’m not tryna perform, I’m not tryna impress, I’m not tryna conform, I just wanna be still, let my spirit be warm in the peace that You give that I can’t ignore. I remember the weight I was carryin’ then, tryin’ to figure out life, tryin’ to make it all make sense, but I kept runnin’ circles, I was lost in my head, till I stopped and I realized You were right there instead. Not waitin’ on me to get everything right, not waitin’ for me to be perfect in sight, You met me in weakness, You stepped in my life, and showed me a love that don’t fade overnight. Now I breathe different, I move different too, not because I’m strong, but because I got You, not because I earned it, not because I knew how to fix everything—but because You came through. And I don’t take that lightly, I know what it is, to be held in a love like this, to be covered in grace I didn’t give, to be close to a God that actually lives. Hook Right here with You, I don’t need to go far, I don’t need another place, I don’t need another start, I just stay in Your presence exactly where You are, and that’s enough for me, that’s enough for my heart. Through God the Father, I know I’m not alone, through Jesus my Savior, I know I’m brought home, through the Spirit that moves, I don’t walk on my own, right here with You… this is where I belong. Verse 2 I don’t gotta chase what the world calls peace, I don’t gotta run just to feel released, I don’t gotta build something just to believe that I’m finally okay or I’m finally free. I found somethin’ deeper, it don’t fade away, it don’t change with the night, it don’t shift with the day, it don’t depend on how much I can say, it just stays… it just stays. And I feel it when I slow down and breathe, when I stop tryna think, stop tryna achieve, when I let go of control and I finally see that I’m safe in Your hands, I don’t have to compete. There’s a comfort in knowin’ You already know every thought, every fear, every place I won’t show, and You still draw me near, You don’t tell me to go, You just stay right here, and that’s all that I need. Through Jesus Christ, I was given new life, not just words I repeat, but a real kind of light, not just something I say, but something inside that changed how I walk and the way I decide. Through the Spirit I feel when I’m startin’ to drift, He reminds me again I don’t gotta resist the peace that You give, I just gotta submit to the love that You’ve shown me in all of this. And God the Father, You hold it all down, not a temporary fix, not a weak kind of ground, but a place I can stand when I’m feelin’ spun around, and I don’t have to question if You’re still around. You’ve been here through it all, every step, every fall, every time I got lost, every time I would call, and I see it more clear now than ever before, You were never far—you were right at the door.
