The banner says to seize the day, To dare, to build, to find a way- To carve out every fleeting space And hold it in a tight embrace. But focus is a fragile thing. A sudden noise, a little ping, And all my thoughts are scattered high- Like startled birds against the sky. A hiker lost in tangled green, Searching for a world unseen. Yet stumbling through the brush and vine, I find a clearing, wild, divine. The rigid edges start to fade, Where watercolor mists are made. Like dandelion seeds on a summer breeze, I drift away between the trees. For some time to wake and seem, The mind must wander through a dream.
