[Verse] The fjords are alight with the frostbite’s gleam Shields and axes in tow The hearth roars high It’s the Yuletide dream Under skies that churn and glow [Chorus] Oath of winter’s flame The frost calls thy name In the halls The alehorns resound Oath of winter’s flame Through snow we proclaim The glory of kin all around [Verse 2] The winds howl wild as the longships glide On a sea of silver ice Our voices rise ‘neath the star-clad tide To the gods of fire and night [Prechorus] Hoist the horn Let the mead run deep Raise the song Through the dark we leap [Chorus] Oath of winter’s flame The frost calls thy name In the halls The alehorns resound Oath of winter’s flame Through snow we proclaim The glory of kin all around [Bridge] Hark the wolves They howl in the gale While the hammer strikes the frostbit trail The Yule log burns The night prevails With our voices loud and hale
