It became a place where people met, collaborated, learned, laughed, found their confidence and became family. Some of us eventually went off and built our own little corners of this crazy, addictive music world. But the beautiful thing is, we never really left. We still come home. We support Sonic Boom. You support PULSE and We show up for one another. And that may be the greatest proof that your Rising Tide philosophy actually worked. You didn’t build something people had to stay inside. You built something big enough for people to grow from. And then life threw something at you that none of us saw coming. A year ago, you had a stroke. We watched our friend face something frightening, but we also watched him fight his way back, recover, and return to the music and the people he loves. And of course, Mike being Mike, apparently somewhere during recovery he made absolutely certain that the part of his brain responsible for talking remained completely untouched. Possibly stronger. Definitely stronger. 😂 and... I think... we wouldn't have it any other way.... Underneath all our teasing is something we hope you know. We’re so very grateful that you’re here.
