Ghosts in the Wallpaper

V5.5

Some houses don’t keep memories in frames. They keep them in the walls. “Ghosts in the Wallpaper”, a song about inherited silence, forgotten photographs, and the strange realization that pieces of the people before us still move quietly inside who we become. A fragile psychedelic folk whisper about generations that never truly leave. © BStur – All rights reserved. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ghost in the Wallpaper" …i’ve heard this room before… i walked into the hallway where the colors lost their names the wallpaper still carried tiny outlines in the grain a clock without a heartbeat still hanging by the door and dust moving like memories across the wooden floor i know these hands though they were never mine i know these eyes through another time there are ghosts in the wallpaper sleeping in the seams voices folded softly inside forgotten dreams and every photograph i touch still breathes beneath my skin like every generation never really left… within i found a box of letters wrapped in aging thread words from people gone now still trembling in my head someone laughed exactly the way i sometimes do and suddenly the silence felt inherited too their shadows move inside my voice their unfinished loves inside my choices there are ghosts in the wallpaper floating through the light not haunting just remaining just beyond my sight and every name forgotten still echoes somewhere deep inside the blood and breathing that i was meant to keep stay… stay… maybe we never vanish maybe we only fade into the hands of strangers that carry what we made and every silent fracture every kindness left unseen still travels through the living like a slow and endless dream home… again… known… within… there are ghosts in the wallpaper but none of them feel cold they live inside the stories my body quietly holds and when the house grows silent i still hear something sing a thousand quiet heartbeats moving softly… under everything …they never really left…
