Oh Marcel from Marseille, he’s ninety today, Still hikes up a mountain like it’s child’s play! With baguette in hand and a beret on his head, He climbs so high, even goats stay in bed! Oh Marcel! Oh Marcel! You’re the man, can’t you tell? Charismatic, fantastic, with that grandpa smell! From Yerevan roots to the Calanques Range so tall, He’s loved by his crew — and that means us all! He’s got a sweet wife, and two kids full of fun, Four grandkids who think he should win a solid gold bun! For honesty, kindness, and chalk, full of skills, He’s a guy who pays taxes and all of his bills Some say he’s a miser who’s tight with his cash but that has allowed him to amass a big stash. Oh Marcel! Oh Marcel! He could charm a gazelle! Even French waiters say, “That guy is so swell!” He’s tougher than cheese left out for a week, But his hugs turn the grumpiest cheeks into sweets! He’s Armenian spice in a French soufflé, With wisdom like wine that just won’t decay. At ninety he dances, he tells us his tales, Of love, of hikes… and slow Wi-Fi fails. So here’s to our hero, with laughter and cheer, To Marcel the legend, let’s toast with a beer! Or maybe some wine, or a nice herbal tea— At ninety, digestion’s a whole odyssey! One day on the ocean, in a wee little boat, Marcel dropped a line just to see what would float. He hooked a huge eel, five feet long, strong and wild, Then reeled it in grinning — calm, cool, and styled! He spreads peanut butter like fine caviar, While bragging, “My oranges win prizes — by far!” He gives epic speeches with flair, poise, and grace, Then ducks out with “I gave at the office,” straight face! Oh Marcel! Oh Marcel! You still ring that bell! Of dignity, love, and good stories to tell. May your hikes be smooth, and your cheese never blue, Happy birthday dear Marcel — we all love you!
