Lose Control

Pōmaika'i
A popular progressive EDM track is built around emotion and gradual momentum, The vocals are melodic and expressive, often starting soft and intimate before expanding with layered harmonies and subtle effects as the song builds, They’re designed to feel uplifting and emotional, helping guide the listener through the track’s journey, The beat begins minimal, using light percussion, gentle plucks, and atmospheric pads to create space, As the song progresses, steady kicks, rolling basslines, and rhythmic synth patterns are introduced to increase energy without overwhelming the mix, The drops focus more on release than impact, replacing heavy aggression with wide chords, driving bass, and soaring melodies, Instead of abrupt drops, progressive EDM relies on smooth transitions and emotional payoff, creating a euphoric, immersive experience that unfolds over time

[Intro] Hands up in the dark tonight Lights fade in, yeah it feels right Heart beat syncing with the crowd One breath in, drown it out [Build 1] Started low, now we rising Every sound got me vibing No fear left in my chest Say fuck the past, I’m feeling next Voices echo in the air Close your eyes, we’re almost there [Drop 1] Let it go Feel it break Every doubt just drift away We don’t fall, we levitate Hands up high, yeah this our place [Post-Drop Groove] Oh Feel that pull Let the rhythm take control Oh Don’t fight it Let the moment overflow [Break] Lights low, heart exposed Every shadow starting to glow I don’t need to know your name Just feel the sound inside my veins [Build 2] We came here to feel alive Burn it once, then burn it twice No sleep, no second guess If this is wrong, fuck it, yes Count it down, don’t hesitate This is more than just a phase [Final Drop] Lose control slowly Let the night hold me If the world breaks, let it break tonight We’re not lonely We’re wide open Feel the rush when the stars collide [Outro] Hold that sound Let it fade Carry this into the day
