Shield of Light

Shield of Light [Instrumental intro] (Verse 1) In a world of darkness, where shadows creep, A Paladin arises, his watch he keeps. With blade of brilliance and shield of faith, He defends the weak and turns the tide of fate. (Chorus) Shield of Light, beacon of hope, In every battle, his strength does cope. With a pure heart and an undaunted soul, He fights for justice, reaching his goal. (Verse 2) Through barren lands and tempestuous seas, He faces horrors and cruel enemies. But his faith guides him, his will won't break, Protecting his comrades for goodness' sake. (Chorus) Shield of Light, beacon of hope, In every battle, his strength does cope. With a pure heart and an undaunted soul, He fights for justice, reaching his goal. [interlude] (Bridge) Even when darkness seems to prevail, His light shines brightly, never to fail. A symbol of courage, of love so true, The Paladin's the hero we long for too. (Chorus) Shield of Light, beacon of hope, In every battle, his strength does cope. With a pure heart and an undaunted soul, He fights for justice, reaching his goal. [Refrain] [Instrumental ending] [End]
