It’s 2026... Feels like I blinked, now I’m 36 Still chasing freedom Still trying to unplug from the Matrix Yeah Thirty-six and I still feel the pressure Bills on the table but we still hold together Back in my twenties I was dancing with the devil Fast cash, fast cars, bad habits, heavy metal Blue lights bounce off all the rain on the street Whole squad living like tomorrow’s guaranteed I survived nights that should’ve took my soul away Now my little boy asleep in the next room safe And that changes you First time somebody calls you “Dad” All them old ghosts start fading into past It’s been 20 years since that day, me and Ray Young kids, fast cars... a dance with destinayy Guess God had bigger plans for me Still chasing better for a life that must be earned I work the 9 to 5, get home and turn on the PC Crypto candles like Bob Ross painting happy trees Trying to build a future bigger than survival Trying to teach my son that peace is something vital Maybe I won’t make a million Maybe I won’t escape But every single scar I got brought me to this place When I feel lost I just look above Then I look at them And remember what love was This is all we got This is all we got A little hope, a little light A little love in the dark This is all we got This is all we got My son, my wife, this life That’s enough to heal my heart And every night when I lay my head down I can finally say At least I tried now Millennial burnout with a dream in the basement Everybody online screaming “get rich” chasing greatness Half my friends turned bitter Half turned numb We were raised by the internet and fear and broken love Started with a couple packs, turned into the northeast 5-P-M, Rush hour, two hundred pounds in the back seat Funny how the older that you get the more you see Real wealth ain’t money It’s the people who don’t leave And God... I know I ain’t perfect I still got anger underneath the surface Still fighting every version of myself that deserved this But you gave me purpose So I’m trying to be worthy I came from long nights with my back against the wall Cold nights, court dates, pain in my conscience Now there’s laughter in the kitchen Tiny shoes by the bed And somehow all the chaos finally makes sense This is all we got No diamonds, no guarantees Just love against the odds This is all we got This is all we got And if tomorrow never comes At least they knew my heart Every night when I lay my head down I thank God I made it somehow From the dark to the sunlight From survival to real life It’s 2026... Feels like I blinked, now I’m 36 Still trying Still building Still loving And maybe... Maybe that’s enough
