THE LIGHT I FOUND

Life is strange, it walks me down roads I never planned. Dreams slip through my fingers like silver sand. I’ve wandered through shadows, chasing my name, looking for meaning, finding the same. But in the blur of nights I nearly fell, I found small truths that time would tell. The pain I feared became my friend, it showed me how the story bends. I’ve been lost, I’ve been found, I’ve been turned inside out, but I’m learning to love the sound of my own heart beating loud. I don’t need to know what’s next, I’ll walk this road and take each breath. I’ve been hell, I’ve been heaven-bound, this is the light I found. Who will I be in the years to come? A hero, a fool, or just someone? Will love still find me under the stars, or will I drink the sky from broken jars? I’ve fought the need to stand apart, but sameness can still feed the heart. We’re all made of the same design, different faces, one fragile line. No god or ghost can live my days, I build my faith in honest ways. Each scar, each ache, each passing doubt is proof of life still burning out. So let them preach, I’ll simply be, a soul that breathes its own decree. Freedom isn’t what we’re told, it’s choosing love when the night turns cold. I’ve been lost, I’ve been found, and I’m still spinning round, but I’ve learned to love the sound of my own heart beating loud. No crown, no throne, no higher vow, I am the light I found. Yeah, I am the light I found.
