The Hue-Goo Mix (Primary & Secondary Magic)

+ Show full styles

[Verse 1 - The Red & Yellow Hug]
Red is a fire, Red is a rose,
Red is the tip of a monster’s nose!
Yellow is a lemon, Yellow is the sun,
Yellow is a race that has just been won!
But when Red and Yellow give a great big squeeze...
They turn into ORANGE as easy as you please!
(Squeeze it! Mix it! Orange is the vibe!)

[Verse 2 - The Blue & Yellow Splash]
Yellow is the sand, Blue is the sky,
Blue is the wink in a monster’s eye!
But when they hold hands and they dance around,
A beautiful GREEN starts to hit the ground!
Like a grassy hill or a lime-drop sweet,
Green is the color that’s a forest treat!
(Splash it! Swirl it! Green is the scene!)

[Chorus]
It’s the Hue-Goo Mix! (The magic of the sight!)
Turning every shadow into something bright!
Primary to Secondary, one-two-three,
It’s the science of the rainbow for you and me!
Paint it on the wall! Paint it on your toes!
That’s how the color-magic grows and grows!

[Verse 3 - The Blue & Red Mystery]
Blue is a berry, Red is a beet,
Red is the heat of a summer street!
But when they get together in a purpley-muddle,
They turn into VIOLET in a royal puddle!
Deep like the grape, soft like the plum,
Purple is the sound of a magic drum!
(Muddle it! Magic it! Purple is the prize!)

[Bridge]
[The beat gets faster and more electronic—pure dance energy]
What about WHITE? (It makes things LIGHT!)
What about BLACK? (It takes the color BACK!)
Mix 'em all together? (You get a messy BROWN!)
The craziest color in the monster town!

[Chorus]
It’s the Hue-Goo Mix! (The magic of the sight!)
That’s how the color-magic grows and grows!

[Outro]
[The music ends with a final, high-pitched "Squeak"]
Red, Yellow, Blue.
The world is waiting...
For a color like YOU!
[Final sparkly "Shimmer" sound]
[End]
