[Verse 1] The alarm is screaming It’s Monday morning again! Foggy head and tired eyes Tell me it was another good weekend. Over too soon, back to the grind So much to do, but I have Friday on my mind [Verse 2] Drink some coffee Give me that sunrise boost Before I join the 9 til 5 Drag my feet, enter the zombie parade The monotonous commute I need my Friday escapade [Pre Chorus] Crowds on buses Crowds on trains Crowds all together All sharing the pain (Change it up!) [Chorus] Let’s light this fire, fuel the beast Turn up the overdrive, a sonic feast (Turn it up!) Turn it up! (Turn it up!) Turn it up, yeah We’re gonna rattle your foundations Bring down the neighbourhood (Turn it up!) Turn it up! (Turn it up!) Turn it up, yeah Bring down the neighbourhood [Verse 3] My feet are aching I’ve punched my card My pound of flesh is worth more than this But it’s Friday, so I don’t give a shit Get home, get a beer Rock my Guitar, the weekends here! [Chorus] Let’s light this fire, fuel the beast Turn up the overdrive, a sonic feast (Turn it up!) Turn it up! (Turn it up!) Turn it up, yeah We’re gonna rattle your foundations Bring down the neighbourhood (Turn it up!) Turn it up! (Turn it up!) Turn it up, yeah Bring down the neighbourhood [Chorus] Let’s light this fire, fuel the beast Turn up the overdrive, a sonic feast (Turn it up!) Turn it up! (Turn it up!) Turn it up, yeah We’re gonna rattle your foundations Bring down the neighbourhood (Turn it up!) Turn it up! (Turn it up!) Turn it up, yeah Bring down the neighbourhood [Outro} Bring it down Oh Bring it down yeah Lets bring down the neighbourhood Bring down the neighbourhood Just bring down the neighbourhood!
