[Verse] I know a man, He spreads the word. He takes the time, So God is heard. He's always there, For those in need. He was called, To plant the seed. [Chorus] If you ask him to save you, He'll just look you in the eye. He'll tell you he's no savior, But that he knows a guy. If you ask him for forgiveness, He cannot tell a lie. He'll tell you he's no redeemer, But that he knows a guy. [Verse] I know a man, David is his name. He'll tell you we all fall short, But God loves us just the same. Although we are all sinners, In the Fathers eyes. He'll tell you no one's perfect, But that he knows a guy. [Chorus]arc If you ask him to save you, He'll just look you in the eye. He'll tell you he's no savior, But that he knows a guy. If you ask him for forgiveness, He cannot tell a lie. He'll tell you he's no redeemer, But that he knows a guy. [Bridge] He'll tell you that, He answered the call. Because he knows the one, That saved us all. I've seen him laugh, And seen him cry. But in both he rejoices, Because he knows a guy. [Chorus] If you ask him to save you, He'll just look you in the eye. He'll tell you he's no savior, But that he knows a guy. If you ask him for forgiveness, He cannot tell a lie. He'll tell you he's no redeemer, But that he knows a guy. [Finale]
