Fractured Line

[Intro] (Raw, dry analog recording. Just a gritty, syncopated bassline playing a 2-3-3 rhythm. A single, dry snare drum hits off-beat. Creeping, atmospheric tension.) [Verse 1] (Tight, dry acoustic drums enter. Vocals are close, dry, and almost spoken-sung in perfect time with the bass.) I think I'm slightly over you, Stale scripts of broken symmetry. Pulled down into the undertow, Caught in this cold anatomy. [Pre-Chorus] (Bass slides down the fretboard. Guitars enter with quiet, dissonant, echoing plucks. The rhythm starts to fracture.) The ceiling cracks, the shadows bend, We play the sequence to the end. [Chorus] (Explosion of sound. Huge, crashing acoustic cymbals, thick wall of jagged electric guitars. The vocal rhythm breaks out of the 2-3-3 into long, soaring, powerful notes.) And the walls are closing in, Echoes of the exact design! I am tearing at the thread, Walking on a fractured line! Nothing changes in the room, Just the color of the ruin! [Verse 2] (Sudden drop in energy. Guitars cut out completely. Back to just the gritty bass and tight, complex drums locking into the 2-3-3 meter.) Frail glass begins to splinter now, Trapped in the same arithmetic. Dead tongues we aimless echo through, Slow pulse, the gears are turning sick. [Pre-Chorus] (Quiet dissonant guitars return, wrapping around the bassline. Drumming becomes more frantic, lots of tom fills.) The structure groans, the foundation bends, We play the sequence to the end. [Chorus] (Maximum volume. Crashing, heavy, live-band energy.) And the walls are closing in, Echoes of the exact design! I am tearing at the thread, Walking on a fractured line! Nothing changes in the room, Just the color of the ruin! [Bridge] (Music shifts into a strange, odd time signature. Heavy, chugging guitar palm-mutes. A slow, grinding, mathematical build-up. Vocals are distant, chanting like a mantra.) Sever the cycle. Shatter the frame. Nothing is shifting. Always the same. (Guitars get louder, drums start attacking the crash cymbals) Sever the cycle! Shatter the frame! [Guitar Solo / Instrumental Break] (Heavy, raw, wailing analog guitar solo over a massive, driving rhythm section. Pure progressive rock energy.) [Outro] (Abrupt cut to half-speed. Sludgy, heavy, dragging rhythm.) I think I'm slightly over you. (One final, massive cymbal crash and a distorted guitar chord that rings out and decays into raw amp feedback.)
