This song was inspired by “Enemy” from Imagine Dragons & JID — that explosive energy, the inner conflict, the cinematic tension. I first heard it while watching Arcane, and it hit deep — 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯. That idea stuck with me.
