The Bucket and the Redhead
Willy’s a lad in his late twenties, working hard on the land For the Smith family farm, with a pitchfork in his hand But then that taxi pulled up, Katja was home for the summer break And the world seemed to freeze, for goodness sake Red hair, long legs, and a neckline down to there Willy stared wide-eyed, gasping for some air. She sat on that milking stool, legs wide, a gaze of ice She squeezed the udder tight and gave some bold advice: "You’ve got to pull it, Willy, ‘til it sprays out strong and fast, I don’t like halfway jobs, I want a thrill that’s gonna last. Keep your eyes on me, and don’t stop until I say... You're not done ‘til you fill that bucket... thats the game this summer we gonna play!" Oh Katja, you’re a beast, a summer-long delight That bucket must be full, you told me every night Pulling and pushing ‘til the rim is reached and the milk begins to spill Willy started sweating, getting more than just a thrill! Willy had his hands full with what that redhead sought Every corner of the barn, every lesson that she taught Katja was the boss, a wild and endless ride Until every single drop was splashing over the side. But then the summer faded, and she had to go to school The holidays were over, and the air was getting cool Willy sat there dreaming, missing Katja’s touch Thinking ‘bout the summer and the girl he missed so much But then the door swung open, Mother Smith walked in the room And boy, she was a beauty, in the peak of all her bloom She had red hair too, a proud look, and a chest so round and wide How did I never notice this? Willy thought inside The mother saw him staring, laughed, and took the lead She sat down on that low-slung stool, a different kind of breed. "Come on Willy, this bucket’s empty and we gonna fill" And with a wink, she gave poor Willy a brand-new kind of chill. Oh Katja, you’re a beast, but your mama likes to play The bucket must be full, that’s all they had to say Pulling and pushing ‘til the passion starts to gleam Willy’s never had such a double-redhead dream! The taxi took Katja back, to that school so far away Willy’s back with Bertha now, to start another day After this summer the barn is never the same again Working at the Smith farm, Willy is such a lucky man. "Helping the farmers wife and daughter every day.... Life on a farm is good, they say... "
