A Promise Kept Original (rough cut)

It's a bit rough for my first ever song. The extended version is the complete version. A Promise Kept: I traced your name in falling snow, A thousand years, yet still I know. The hands of time have turned to stone, But in my dreams, you're never gone. The stars grow dim, the heavens weep, I keep the vow we could not keep. A promise kept, the shadows weep, With love and faith, the shadows bleed. Though all we were has turned to dust, My heart remembers, my heart trusts. And if the sun should cease to rise, I'll search for you beyond the skies. With nothing left, a promise kept, Through endless night, through tears we've wept. If time should steal our last embrace, I'll find you in another place. We'll meet again in another life, Beyond the stars, beyond this night. Though worlds may end and memories fade, My love for you will never change. With nothing left, a promise kept, Through endless night, through tears we've wept. If time should steal our last embrace, I'll find you in another place. We'll meet again in another life, Beyond the stars, beyond this night. Though worlds may end and memories fade, My love for you will never change.
